From Cork take N8 direction Dublin.
Take new Watergrasshill-Fermoy by-pass.
Continue past Mitchelstown and 6km after Kilcoran Lodge, take a right turn for Cahir.

Take the N8 (signposted The South (N8, N9)
Continue forward to join Motorway M7 (signposted Limerick, Cork)
Leave the M7 motorway (signposted Cork,), then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the N8 (signposted Cork)
Continue forward to New Inn.
8kms after village of New Inn, continue through the Tipperary Road roundabout taking the 2nd exit onto the N8 (signposted Cork)
Take first turn left for Cahir.

At Tipperary Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N24 (signposted Waterford, Tipperary)
At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N24 (signposted Waterford)
Continue forward onto the N24.
At Tipperary Town, take the 2nd exit onto Bansha Road – N24 (signposted Waterford) Continue forward onto the N24.
Continue through to Tipperary Road roundabout taking the 3rd exit onto the N8 (signposted Cork)
Take first turn left for Cahir.

Take the Callan Road, at roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N76 (signposted Clonmel)
Continue forward onto the N76.
At Killheffernan Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N24 (signposted Limerick)
Continue forward onto Waterford Road.
At Clonmel, at Moangarrif Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Waterford Road – N24 (signposted Limerick)
At Carrigeen Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N24 (signposted Limerick)
At Fethard Road Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N24 (signposted Limerick)

Entering Cahir , continue through direction Limerick, past Castle.
